Terrarium House Redux

Every spring I make some terrariums for a benefit table to raise money for homeless kitties. This is how the 2014 group shaped up. Sorry for the blurry quality of some of these photos. I snapped a few quick stills at the last minute before (late!) delivery. (Time management is my evil nemesis) I'll have some of these tiny dwellings for sale in my Etsy shop soon.  These are all hand built using rubber press molds and Sculpy. I'm experimenting with white resin and reusable silicon molds.

Tiny Terrarium Jewelry

Tiny Terrarium with Birch Bark House no. 20

Tiny Terrarium Tree House Ring no. 9

TWO filled shells! I LOVE to finish projects. My modus operandi is to start many, many projects with great enthusiasm and drop them, partially realized, in favor of something new. Mr. G just shakes his head. I'm trying to change my wayward habits. These two items are spoken for, but if you like them, check out my Etsy store- umbellata.etsy.com. More tiny terrariums coming in the near future. I promise..... really.

Finished Terrariums with Hobbit Houses

I like how these turned out. Next house will have more detail. Eyebrow window? Tiny front porch?  Maybe some tiny lights? Floral lights would work. Hmmmm.... Need a remote control.... The Tiny Universe obsession continues. Stay tuned.
